David Benowitz

David Benowitz is one of two founding partners of Price Benowitz LLP. Mr. Benowitz is licensed to practice law in Maryland and the District of Columbia. Mr. Benowitz has spent his career fighting for client’s rights and has extensive trial experience.

Mr. Benowitz is an AV rated attorney by Martindale-Hubbell and is a rated a perfect 10 by AVVO.com. He has been selected as one of Washington, DC’s top 100 attorneys by the National Trial Lawyers association and he is regularly called for comments or to do on-air interviews by local newspapers and networks.

Mr. Benowitz is a faculty member at Harvard Law School’s nationally-known Trial Advocacy Workshop, as well as a Professorial Lecturer in Law at the George Washington University Law School. He is a member of the National Trial Lawyers Association – Top 100 Trial Lawyers. He is also currently the only DC-based criminal defense attorney to be board certified by the National Board of Trial Advocacy.

Mr. Benowitz obtained an LLM. in Trial Advocacy in 2006 from Temple University’s Beasley School of Law. In addition, he graduated near the top of his class at George Washington Law School in 1995, where he participated in the DC Law Students in Court Program and was a member of the George Washington Law Review and the Moot Court Board. Mr. Benowitz graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1991 with honors, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Honors American History.
