When I was a child, my brothers were always around to help out when things got tough. I remember climbing up a tree then realizing I could not get myself back down. My wonderful brothers climbed up the tree and helped my get down. Maybe it was because my parents were hard on them, or because they were boy scouts, or because they were just good people, but they always seemed to find away to help.

Lately, I have been looking into buying a car and the prospect scares me. I want to have a car manufactured by a company that I can trust with my family and my life in the case of a Maryland car accident. After issues with the accelerator last year, I wanted to stay away from Toyota and all related brands. A trial in the works and a massive recall does not inspire confidence and actually makes me reconsider all of their makes and models.

One of the car manufacturers that I actually closely considered was Chevrolet. I thought I would feel really comfortable with getting a Chevrolet vehicle. However, my good feeling about Chevrolet was short lived when I realized that they are also in the process of a massive recall. Sometime between late April and early May this year, Chevrolet had to recall the Cruze because there was an issue in the steering column that caused the steering wheel to fall off.
